Sofia Coppola set to direct feature film Priscillabased on the autobiographical book Elvis and me (Elvis and me), written by Priscilla Presley in 1985 and intimately recounting her life with the King.

Cailee Spaeny, who we saw in Magic black : them new witches (Tea Craft : Legacy), will play the lead role, and Jacob Elordi, who starred in Tea Kissing Booth and Euphoriawill play the famous singer.
Earlier this year, Olivia DeJonge and Austin Butler played identical roles in Elvisa biographical musical drama directed by Baz Luhrmann.
In addition to directing the feature film, Sofia Coppola signs the screenplay. This is his second biographical film, after Marie Antoinettean adaptation freely inspired by the life of the illustrious Queen of France.
Priscilla marks the third collaboration between Sofia Coppola and the production company A24, after In of beautiful sheets (We tea Rocks) and the Bling Ring (Tea Bling Ring).
Sofia Coppola will reunite with her longtime collaborators, director of photography Philippe Le Sourd, costume designer Stacey Batttat, editor Sarah Flack and art director Tamara Deverell.
Filming for the film will take place this fall in Toronto.
