PlayStation unveils a new trailer for God of War: Ragnarök

Gamers who have been eagerly awaiting the release of the new God of War since its announcement in September 2020 got to see a new trailer, as well as the unveiling of a special edition PS5 controller.

The unveiled images allow us to know more about what awaits the two main characters of the game, Kratos and his son Atreus, while the threat of Ragnarök hangs over the nine kingdoms.

The release of God of War: Ragnarok is scheduled for November 9.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition

The Japanese firm has revealed two games in development for VR2, Star Wars and Demeo, both of which will be released in 2023. The immersive game Stars Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition promises an intergalactic experience alongside well-known characters from the popular series, including R2-D2 and Jedi Master Yoda.

According to PlayStation’s announcement, the game will push the boundaries using all the technology VR2 has to offer. The visual and sound experiences will allow fans to dive into the adventure and really feel in the Star Wars universe.

Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy

PlayStation also revealed the PlayStation-exclusive quest game Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy, which immerses fans in the Harry Potter universe. The Hogsmeade Haunted Shop quest will be included in the base game for PlayStation players.

The release, initially scheduled for 2022, is finally expected for February 2023.

After a long wait, the studio Bandai Namco has confirmed that it is currently looking into the production of Tekken 8 and unveiled a first trailer.

The Tekken fighting game series is particularly famous for its spectacular scenes and high-quality visuals. No release date has been confirmed for this game, which is still in development.

PlayStation also showed off several updates from its Japanese partners, including Bandai Namco’s novelty Synduality, as well as new action games Stellar Blade, slated for 2023, and Rise of the Ronin, which will launch in 2024. the latter two will be available exclusively on the PS5.

Several fanatics were hoping for details on the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 16 and Resident Evil 4 games. The latter two, however, were absent from the presentation.

Finally, PlayStation has shared new information about its loyalty program, PlayStation Stars. This program will allow fans to collect virtual items by participating in activities.

PlayStation Stars will roll out to Asia by the end of the month, followed by America and Europe in the following weeks. Those who wish to join can do so for free.
