Djordje Mihailovic will finish the season, then head to the Netherlands

Mihailovic hatched his second campaign with the Montreal XI. He has so far amassed 7 goals and 4 assists in 20 games, including 18 as a starter. He thus became one of the main offensive players in the formation of Wilfried Nancy.

CF Montreal had acquired Mihailovic from the Fire for a general allocation amount of $400,000 in 2021 and 2022. The deal also included a clause that the Chicago club would get a percentage of an eventual transfer.

Mihailovic has six games with Team USA, including two at the 2019 Gold Cup. ankle injury.

His future club, AZ Alkmaar, performs in the Dutch Premier League. The Dutch team, victorious in their first two games this season, ended the last campaign in 5th place among 18 teams.
