Daniel Lavoie sings the texts of Rimbaud

Daniel Lavoie’s next album will have poetic intonations, because all the texts are by Arthur Rimbaud, the famous French poet of the 19th century.

Daniel Lavoie sings Rimbaud – The river of Cassis will be released on September 23. All the songs on this album are composed and arranged by producer, composer and musician Laurent Guardo.

This is not the first time Daniel Lavoie has sung Rimbaud’s words. In the musical project The captive unicornalso directed by Laurent Guardo, released in 2014, the singer interpreted two poems by the writer who died at the age of 37 in 1891: Ophelia and ball of the hanged.
