Montreal Alouettes fullback Christophe Normand pleaded not guilty to two charges of luring a teenage girl for a sexual purpose on Thursday, reports The Voice of the East.
Normand would have communicated
by means of telecommunication with a minor
with a view to facilitating the commission of an offense against him of a sexual nature, reports the daily.
The 30-year-old was arrested at his Eastman home on Thursday and appeared during the day via video link.
Normand was released on conditions. In particular, he is prohibited from being in the presence of minors, except in the company of another responsible adult, from communicating with the complainant and from using the internet.
