Bonobo at OfF Piknic in September

Simon Green, a British downtempo pioneer known by his artist name Bonobo, will take over Parc Jean-Drapeau in September for OfF Piknic, a parallel section of the Sunday events of the Piknic Électronik festival.

Note that the famous British producer Fatboy Slim will also be at Parc Jean-Drapeau on September 3, an event presented by the MEG Festival in collaboration with OfF Piknic.

The performance of Fatboy Slim, who established his international fame in the second half of the 1990s thanks to hits like Praise You Where Right Here, Right Nowwill be preceded by Montreal duo Nymra & Sofisticated.

On September 10, producer and DJ Bonobo will spin his turntables starting at 8 p.m. on the Videotron stage. OfF Piknic represents the first leg of their new North American tour. He will notably go to Quebec on September 21, and will be back in Montreal the next day for a show at L’Olympia.

As a prelude to the Bonobo show at Parc Jean-Drapeau, we can hear Toronto producer and DJ Jacques Greene. As for Richie Hawtin, another Canadian electro artist, he will perform on the Videotron stage on September 24 in the evening.
