Falcon Lake: a film of “love and ghosts” presented at TIFF
Falcon Lake had its world premiere at Cannes in May. PHOTO: Provided by Charlotte Le Bon
The work presented in North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is inspired by the comic book novel A sister, by the French author Bastien Vivès. It deals with sex between teenagers.
This is the first feature film directed by Quebec actress Charlotte Le Bon.
I wanted to show a face a little uninhibited by sexualityshares the filmmaker.
She indicates that her film avoids “too sacred” the scenes of sexual intercourse.
” I feel like sex is beautiful, it’s super healthy, but it can also be really funny. »
